MI Training College Ponnani organized a Mother’s Day Letter Writing Competition under the guidance of IQAC as part of its value-based and literary enrichment initiatives. The programme was conducted with the objective of nurturing creativity, emotional expression, and writing skills among students while promoting respect and gratitude towards mothers. The competition included participation from both college-level and school-level students.
The event received enthusiastic participation from various educational institutions, reflecting the students’ interest in literary activities and value-oriented programmes. Participants submitted heartfelt letters expressing their love, appreciation, and emotional connection with their mothers. The competition created an opportunity for students to showcase their communication skills, creativity, and emotional sensitivity through writing.
In the college-level category, Anisree K Jayaraj from Ansar Training College for Women, Perumbilavu secured the first prize. Shahana Sherin P from the same institution won the second prize, while Fizza Mariam from Christ College Irinjalakuda secured the third prize.
In the school-level category, Nashwa Hafeef from National Huda Central School won the first prize. The second prize was awarded to Musthafa Muttichur from Model High School Puthiyangadi Thalikulam. Aysha from MES HSS Ponnani and Anamika P from GHSS Kattilangadi shared the third prize.
The programme was successfully coordinated by IQAC MITC with the support of faculty members and organizing committee members. The management of MI Training College Ponnani congratulated all winners and participants for their active involvement and commendable performances.
