The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MI Training College, Ponnani organized a Capacity Building Programme on ICT Resources for Teaching–Learning in the Context of the Revised Kerala School Curriculum on 16 March 2026 at 9.30 a.m. at the Seminar Hall, MITC.

The programme began with a prayer, creating a calm and positive atmosphere for the event. The session was followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr. Ramitha Rahman P.A., IQAC Coordinator, MI Training College, Ponnani, who warmly welcomed the chief guest, resource persons, faculty members, and student teachers. In her address, she emphasized the importance of integrating ICT resources into the teaching–learning process in line with the revised Kerala School Curriculum.

The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Noufal P., Principal, MI Training College, Ponnani, who highlighted the significance of technology-enabled learning and encouraged student teachers to effectively use ICT tools to enhance classroom engagement and improve the quality of education.

The inaugural address was delivered online through Google Meet by Mr. Mohamed Sherif K., District Coordinator, KITE Malappuram. In his address, he explained the importance of ICT initiatives implemented by KITE and emphasized the role of digital resources in strengthening the teaching–learning process.

The programme featured sessions by Radhika C.V., Lal S., and Renju V.B., Master Trainers from KITE Malappuram, who shared valuable insights on the effective use of ICT tools in education.

Faculty members and student teachers actively participated in the programme, making the session informative and engaging. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ayisha Nusreen, First Year B.Ed. English student, who expressed gratitude to the chief guest, resource persons, management, faculty members, and participants for their support and presence, contributing to the successful conduct of the programme.
