An ICT Workshop for fourth semester B.Ed. students of the 2024–2026 batch at MI Training College, Ponnani, as part of EDU 401 – Course on EPC 3: Critical Understanding of ICT, was conducted in four phases on 26th and 27th February 2026at the Seminar Hall.

The workshop was led by Dr. Ramitha Rahman P.A, who provided comprehensive training on the integration of Information and Communication Technology in teaching–learning processes.

The sessions covered practical training in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the use of LibreOffice tools. Students were also introduced to the preparation and use of digital textbooks, basics of website creation, and the effective use of ICT resources in classrooms.

The programme was conducted in a phased manner to ensure hands-on experience and active participation. Students engaged in creating digital learning materials, presentations, and simple web-based content, thereby enhancing their technical and pedagogical skills.

The workshop proved to be highly beneficial in developing digital competence among student teachers and enabled them to effectively utilize ICT tools in modern educational settings, in alignment with the objectives of the EPC 3 course.
