MI Training College, Ponnani organized AURA – The Talent Canvas, Talent Day Celebration 2026 on 10 August 2026 for the first-year B.Ed students. The program was organized with the objective of providing a platform for students to showcase their talents, creativity, confidence, and diverse abilities. The celebration aimed to encourage self-expression, participation, teamwork, and a positive spirit among the prospective teachers.
The program commenced with a prayer, followed by the welcome address delivered by Maneesha Manoharan K (Assistant Professor in Physical Science, MITC). Dr. Noufal P (Principal, MITC), presided over the function and delivered the Presidential Address. The Talent Day was formally inaugurated by Dhanya AjithKumar, a talented singer, dancer, and actress, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Her presence and words of encouragement added special significance to the celebration.
The function also included a felicitation address by FAYIS P.S, Staff Secretary, who appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to make use of opportunities to develop and express their talents. The inaugural session was concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Shabnam, Student Coordinator, who expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, Principal, faculty members, students, and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the program.
AURA – The Talent Canvas featured a wide variety of cultural, literary, creative, and knowledge-based activities that provided students with opportunities to display their individual and collective talents. The programs included poetry presentation, solo songs, group songs, group dance, solo dance, teacher songs, cooking recipe sharing, storytelling, book review, and speeches. The diverse activities created an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere and encouraged enthusiastic participation from the students. The Talent Day Celebration was conducted in a joyful and vibrant atmosphere and was a memorable experience for the first-year B.Ed students. The program successfully provided a space for students to explore their talents, overcome stage hesitation, develop confidence, and strengthen friendship and team spirit. AURA – The Talent Canvas 2026 thus became a meaningful and happy celebration of creativity, talent, and togetherness. The institution acknowledges the sincere efforts of the organizers, faculty members, coordinators, and students whose cooperation made the program a successful and memorable event.
