The first-year B.Ed. students of M.I. Training College, Ponnani, organized the World Nature Conservation Day grandly on 28 July 2026 at the College Seminar Hall. The programs were organized under the joint auspices of the college’s Nature Club
Based on the theme “Restoration, Resilience & Responsibility”, today’s assembly commenced with an introduction and anchoring by Shifana, the proceeding began with a prayer song rendered by Anshida and Suhaira. Followed the Pledge by Mohsina. Following this Arwa shared Holy thoughts, and Geethika presented the News updates. And Hana shared the Thought.
Following the assembly, Sainabi delivered the speech about world Nature Conservation Day. She highlighted the importance of nature and resource conservation in the present era. This was followed by the nature conservation oath led by Ramsiya. Afterward, a quiz competition was conducted for the students in two to three sets. In the exciting quiz competition, Aparna secured the first prize, Nihla Rinu won the second prize, and Munsila Banu secured the third prize. The prizes for the winners were distributed by the College Principal.
Subsequently, a ‘Spot Photography’ competition was held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. In this competition, Shabnam won the first prize, and Shafeela secured the second prize. The third prize shared jointly by Shahadiya and Nitha. The programs concluded successfully, raising awareness about the vital need to protect nature and our shared responsibilities toward it.
