MI Training College, Ponnani organized a programme in connection with Ambedkar Jayanthi on 13 April 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event was conducted under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with the aim of commemorating the contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and promoting constitutional values.
The programme began with a prayer by Hamna P.V, followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Noufal P, Principal of the institution. Dr. Ramitha Rahman P.A, IQAC Coordinator, introduced the resource person for the session.
The session was handled by Dr. Santhosh Juvvaka, former Research Scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The webinar aimed to highlight the relevance of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s ideas and constitutional values in contemporary society. Dr. Juvvaka emphasized the importance of constitutional morality in strengthening democracy and discussed key ideals such as equality, justice, liberty, and fraternity. He also encouraged students and teachers to uphold these values in their personal and professional lives. The session emphasized the importance of upholding democratic principles and fostering responsible citizenship among students.
The programme witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, followed by an engaging interaction session.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Nafeeda K, Student Programme Coordinator. The programme served as a meaningful tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, reinforcing his message: “Educate, Agitate, Organize – The path to a just society.”
