The Social Science Department of MI Training College, Ponnani conducted a morning assembly based on the theme “Social and Youth Empowerment.” The programme was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Shaheena A M (Assistant professor social science) the in-charge of the assembly.
The assembly began with a prayer led by Jasina and Ramseena, creating a calm and respectful atmosphere. This was followed by the pledge, delivered by Naja Jasmin K.P, reminding everyone of their responsibilities as responsible citizens. As part of the academic segment, Najma presented a KTET-related topic, which helped students improve their competitive exam awareness. Fida introduced new vocabulary words, helping students enhance their language skills. The thought for the day was shared by Nidha, inspiring the audience with meaningful and motivating words. After that, Nandana delivered the holy thought, providing a spiritual reflection for the day. The news reading was presented by Sajeena, informing the audience about important current events. The programme also included a debate session, encouraging students to express their ideas and opinions on social issues. The entire assembly was smoothly coordinated by the anchor, Safvana, who managed the programme effectively.
