The Social Science Department of MI Training College, Ponnani conducted a meaningful morning assembly in connection with International Human Rights Day on 10th December 2025. The programme aimed to create awareness about human rights, equality, freedom, and social responsibility among students. The assembly began with a prayer led by Shahanas and Jeseela K V, invoking peace and unity. The programme was anchored confidently by Ramseena who maintained the flow of the assembly smoothly. The Pledge was administered by Praveena, emphasizing commitment towards justice and respect for human dignity. The News Reading was presented clearly by Suadha, keeping everyone informed about current affairs. The Thought for the Day was delivered by Vidya, highlighting the importance of respecting human rights in daily life. This was followed by the Holy Thought by Suneera, which inspired moral values and compassion. A short session on KTET awareness was handled by Aneesa, motivating students towards academic excellence. The Presentation by Sumayya focused on the significance of Human Rights Day and its relevance in today’s society. The assembly concluded with a positive message encouraging students to uphold human values, equality, and social justice in their lives. The programme was informative, well-organized, and successful.
