The M.I. Training College, Ponnani, successfully conducted the Talents day programme (Prahasanam ) for the B.Ed. 2025-2027 batch on 21st August 2025. The programme commenced at 09:30 AM in the MITC
Auditorium, aiming to understand and encourage the talents of new batch teacher trainees.
The programme began at 09:30 AM with a prayer, Nasiba.K from the physical science
department, delivered the welcome address, followed by the presidential address of Dr.Ramitha
Rahman P A, Principal-in-charge MITC, who emphasised the aim and importance of the
programme. The programme was officially inaugurated by Mr. Shihab Puduponnani, Singer, his
few words and performances were adding more energy to the programme.
The whole session was perfectly coordinated by Thasniya R V, from the Social Science department and Aslaha KV, from Physical Science.
All the students participated in both individual and group items. While
some students sang songs, others chose dance, poetry, and speech. Everyone participated
well. Mr. Ameen Farook U K , Assistant Professor and NSS Programme Officer, Nikhil Palakkal,
Assistant Professor and Fayis P S, Assistant Professor added more colour to the programme
presenting their talents. All staff filled up energising motives for all participants. With everyone’s
cooperation and support, the event concluded at 4:00 PM. The session concluded with a
heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ayisha Nusreen K, from the English department. The
programme proved that there are many talented students in the new batch of teacher trainees.
