The second day of the “Take a Break” camp at MI Training College continued with great enthusiasm and engagement from the participants. The day was marked by two distinct and meaningful sessions that contributed to both experiential learning and emotional well-being.

Session I: Visit to Fire Station

Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
The day began with an educational and eye-opening field visit to the Fire Station. Students were given a guided tour of the facility where they learned about the day-to-day operations of fire and rescue personnel. The officers provided live demonstrations on firefighting techniques, fire safety protocols, and the use of equipment in emergency situations.

Participants had the opportunity to interact with the firefighters, ask questions, and gain first-hand insights into the challenges and responsibilities of this noble profession. The session was both informative and inspiring, helping the students develop a deeper respect for emergency responders and a greater awareness of safety practices.

Session II: Mind Tuning

Time: 2:00 PM onwards
Resource Person: Razan Nizami (Family Counselor & Mind Tuner)
The afternoon session was a motivational and self-reflective workshop on “Mind Tuning”, led by renowned family counselor and mind tuner Razan Nizami. The session began with a Welcome Address by Fathima A.T., who introduced the speaker and set the context for the session.

In his dynamic and engaging style, Razan Nizami guided participants through the concept of mind tuning – aligning thoughts, emotions, and actions for a more peaceful and purposeful life. He shared practical techniques for stress management, emotional control, self-discipline, and goal-setting. The session was interactive, with moments of laughter, silence, and deep personal reflection.

The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Jinsi K, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource person for the insightful experience and to all those who contributed to the smooth conduct of the session.
