The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MI Training College, Ponnani, successfully organized an Inter-Collegiate Digital Collage Making Competition in connection with Earth Day, drawing enthusiastic participation from students representing various colleges. The programme was conducted with the objective of fostering environmental awareness and encouraging creative expression among students through digital media.
The competition provided a platform for participants to visually communicate their perspectives on pressing environmental issues such as climate change, conservation of natural resources, and sustainable living. The digital collages presented by the students were marked by originality, creativity, and strong thematic relevance, reflecting their awareness and concern for the environment. Many entries highlighted the urgent need for collective action to protect the Earth and promote eco-friendly practices in daily life.
In the competition, Anusree K from BVNCTE Kallekkad, Palakkad, secured the first prize with an outstanding presentation. The second prize was awarded to Chanchal K from BRITE Ramanattukara, Kozhikode, while Sumilath NK from MI Training College, Ponnani, achieved the third position. The winners were appreciated for their innovative ideas and effective visual storytelling.
The programme was conducted under the convenorship of Dr. Noufal P, Principal of MITC, whose guidance and encouragement played a key role in the successful execution of the event. The coordination of the programme was efficiently handled by Dr. Ramitha Rahman PA, IQAC Coordinator, with valuable support from Arya Nandha P, Student Coordinator. Their combined efforts ensured smooth organization and active participation throughout the competition.
