The first-year B.Ed. Mathematics students of M.I. Training College, Ponnani, organized the Remembrance Day of Mohammed Rafi Sahib on 28 July 2026 at the College Seminar Hall.
Based on the theme “Music, Memories & Legends Will Never Die,” the programme commenced with an introduction and anchoring by Rameena Febi. The prayer song was beautifully rendered by Mohsina M P and Nitha Fathima C, followed by the pledge led by Ayisha Shahina T P
The Holy Thought was presented by Najmath C K, while the news updates were shared by Arva Sherin. Shifana E P delivered the Thought for the Day, inspiring the gathering with meaningful reflections.
Following the assembly, Rameena Febi delivered a brief speech on the life and legacy of Mohammed Rafi Sahib, paying tribute to one of India’s most celebrated playback singers. She highlighted his remarkable contribution to Indian music, his melodious voice, and his timeless songs that continue to inspire generations of music lovers. The presentation emphasized how Mohammed Rafi’s dedication, humility, and extraordinary talent have made him a legendary figure in Indian cinema and music.
The programme concluded with words of appreciation for all the participants and organizers who contributed to the successful observance.
