A Two-Day Placement Readiness Programme was organized at MI Training College, Ponnani as part of the Professional Empowerment Programme on 24th and 25th February 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Seminar Hall.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the IQAC, Placement Cell, and ASAP Kerala with the aim of equipping students with essential skills required for career readiness in the teaching profession.

The session began with a warm welcome by Dr. Ramitha Rahman P.A, IQAC Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of such programmes in enhancing employability skills. The programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. Noufal P, Principal, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the need for professional preparedness among student teachers.

The sessions were led by Ms. Sneha T, Life Skills and Employability Trainer from ASAP Kerala. The resource person provided valuable insights into various aspects of employability and professional development.

The programme included a series of interactive and practical sessions such as mock interviews, group discussions, resume presentation, and SWOT analysis. These activities helped students to assess their strengths and areas for improvement, enhance communication skills, and build confidence for facing real-life placement situations.

Students actively participated in all sessions, making the programme engaging and effective. The hands-on training and guidance provided during the workshop enabled participants to develop essential skills for career advancement and professional growth.

The programme was highly beneficial in preparing students for placement opportunities and enhancing their overall employability skills.
