The Social Science Department of M.I. Training College, Ponnani organised a special assembly to observe National women’s Day on 13 February 2026. The assembly was conducted with the theme “Importance of National women’s day”, highlighting the importance and contributions of women to society.
The programme began with the anchoring by Sumayya, followed by a prayer led by Shahanas. The pledge was taken by Vidya, reminding students of unity and human values. Ramseena presented the news, and the thought for the day was delivered by Bhavana, emphasizing empathy towards migrants. A holy thought was shared by Nadeera, and a KTET-related segment was handled by Jaseela. A meaningful presentation on Women’s day and its importance was presented by Sumayya.
The assembly was coordinated under the guidance of Teacher-in-Charge Mrs. Sheheena AM. The programme concluded with the concluding remarks by Dr. Silva P , WDC coordinator by sharing some views. The assembly was informative, inspiring, and successfully conveyed the message of humanity and inclusion.
