An assembly was conducted by the Social Science Department at MI Training College, Puthu Ponnani, under the guidance of Shaheena Miss in connection with World Heart Day, observed on 29 September.
The programme began with a prayer led by Ramseena and Sajeena, creating a calm and respectful atmosphere for the assembly. The pledge was administered by Naja Jasmine, reminding everyone of their responsibilities as citizens.
The programme was anchored by Safwana, who smoothly guided the assembly through the different segments. The news reading was presented by Najma, keeping the audience informed about current events.
The Holy Thought was delivered by Shaneer P, providing a meaningful message for reflection. This was followed by the Thought of the Day shared by Jasina, which encouraged students to value health and well-being.
As part of the World Heart Day observance, a documentary presentation was conducted highlighting the importance of heart health, healthy lifestyles, and preventive measures to reduce heart diseases. The presentation helped create awareness among the students about maintaining a healthy heart through proper diet, exercise, and stress management.
The assembly concluded successfully, leaving the participants with a deeper understanding of the importance of caring for their heart and overall health.
