The assembly on Thursday, 7th November, 2024, at MI Training College, Ponnani, was dedicated to raising awareness about cancer, coinciding with National Cancer Awareness Day. The assembly was organized and conducted by the English Department.
The program commenced with a serene prayer led by Ansila and Riya, setting a reflective tone for the morning.
This was followed by Munshida leading the pledge, reinforcing the commitment to health and well-being. Sulaikha then delivered the daily news, keeping the students informed about current events.
Nooruniha shared a thoughtful message, prompting introspection and consideration of the day’s theme. Manju followed with a holy thought, offering spiritual guidance and strength. Arya delivered a presentation focusing on cancer awareness, highlighting key facts, prevention methods, and support systems.
Thafseera provided information regarding the KTET, which was relevant to the student teachers present. The assembly was smoothly anchored by Angitha, who ensured the program flowed seamlessly and engaged the audience effectively.
The assembly was particularly significant as it aimed to educate and create awareness about cancer, a critical health issue. The participation of the English Department in organizing this event underscored the importance of integrating social awareness with academic activities.
The assembly concluded on leaving the audience with a deeper understanding and awareness of Cancer. The program not only educated the students but also onstilled a sense of responsibility towards health and well-being.
