The first semester orientation programme for B.Ed. students was organized on 30th July 2025 at MI Training College. The session was designed to provide an overview of the academic tasks, practical requirements, and semester activities of the B.Ed. programme.
The general orientation was conducted by Dr. Ramitha Rahman P.A., who elaborated on the curriculum framework, semester-wise distribution of tasks, practicals, and evaluation processes. Emphasis was placed on the significance of professional ethics, reflective practices, and active participation in all academic and co-curricular engagements.
Subsequently, optional-wise orientation sessions were held in the respective classrooms, led by the optional teachers. These sessions provided detailed insights into subject-specific tasks, practicum requirements, assignments, and pedagogical expectations. Students were encouraged to seek guidance and clarify doubts to ensure a smooth transition into the academic process.
The orientation programme effectively prepared the students to begin their B.Ed. journey with confidence, clarity, and a sense of responsibility.
