The Social Science Department organized an enlightening and inspiring assembly on March 21 2025 dedicated to the theme of International Forest Day . The assembly was meticulously planned, incorporating various elements that remembering the importance of preservation of forests and along with this , importance of giving care to down syndrome students also highlighted.
Anchoring and Introduction
The assembly was anchored by sumayya, who began the proceedings with a warm welcome to all students and teachers. She introduced the theme of the day, focusing on international day of forest.
Prayer
Sumayya, Aneesa and Fabitha led the assembly in a solemn prayer, setting a respectful and focused tone for the event.
Pledge
Sumayya then took the stage to lead the college in the Pledge, reaffirming the students’ commitment to their duties and responsibilities as citizens.

Suadha provided the day’s news, keeping everyone informed about current events, with a special emphasis on the latest updates related to the issues in Olympics
Thought of the Day
Bhavana shared an inspiring thought of the day, reminding everyone of the importance of perseverance and determination
Holy Thought
Nadeera offered a holy thought, reflecting on the spiritual dimensions of striving for excellence and the importance of maintaining integrity and honor in all pursuits.
Presentation
One of the highlights of the assembly was the interaction section on the topic presented by Shahanas. The presentation was so interactive. The responsibility of teachers in giving care to down syndrome students are discussed in this session.
Conclusion
The assembly concluded with closing remarks by sheheena miss, who thanked everyone for their active participation. The Head encouraged students to do more programmes and events like this and to make assembly more interactive
