On the afternoon of September 5, 2024, our school proudly celebrated National Teachers’ Day with a heartfelt and memorable event that honored the dedication and passion of our educators. The celebration, which commenced at 1.30 PM, was a tribute to the invaluable contributions of teachers, both past and present.
The festivities began with a warm and melodious welcome to each teacher. As they arrived, they were greeted with a beautiful song, a red rose, and a rolled wish card, setting the tone for an event of appreciation and joy. All teachers were seated prominently at the front of the dais, making them the center of attention.
The session started with an inspiring segment where we had the honor of hearing from our esteemed senior retired teachers from the nearby locality. Kalyani Teacher, retired from GMLP School, Ponnani, Dellena Teacher, retired from PCNGHSS, and Ahmmed Sir, retired from MI Girls School, shared their invaluable experiences and memories, offering a glimpse into their impactful careers and the many lives they have touched.
Following this, our respected Principal, Dr. Naseerali Sir, took the stage to recount his cherished moments and experiences as an educator. His reflections provided a touching insight into the dedication and passion that define exceptional teaching.
The celebration continued with contributions from our current faculty members, who shared their own beautiful and memorable teaching moments. Shaheena Miss, Dr. Ramita Miss, Ameen Farook Sir, Dr. Silva Miss, Sabitha Miss, Princy Miss, and Prince Sir all added their voices to the tribute, making the evening rich with personal stories and heartfelt gratitude.
To further express our appreciation, students presented each teacher with a beautifully crafted greeting card. The joy of the occasion was amplified when Ameen Sir and Dr. Naseerali Sir delighted the audience with a musical performance, adding a touch of artistry to the celebration.
The entertainment segment of the event was both fun and engaging. Students took the stage with playful imitations of their teachers and delivered a vibrant dance performance as a tribute to their educators. In addition, teachers participated in amusing activities like dumb charades and tongue twisters, creating moments of laughter and camaraderie.
In a unique and symbolic gesture, students and teachers arranged themselves in the shape of a book and lit candles, representing the light of knowledge and the enduring impact of teaching. The event concluded with a memorable activity where the handprints of teachers were imprinted on the MITC Tree, serving as a lasting memory of this beautiful National Teachers’ Day celebration.
Overall, the event was a resounding success, filled with heartfelt tributes, joyful performances, and lasting memories. It was a celebration that truly honored the spirit of teaching and the incredible individuals who dedicate their lives to shaping the future.
