

As part of the activities of the NSS Unit, MI Training College, Ponnani, a fund raising programme was conducted in support of Noble Palliative Care. The programme aimed to collect financial assistance for palliative care services and to promote social responsibility among students.A total of 50 NSS volunteer students actively participated in the programme. The fund raising activity was carried out in the areas from Ponnani to Chavakkad, where the volunteers visited houses, shops, and public places to collect funds. The public responded positively and extended their wholehearted support to this noble cause.The main objectives of the programme were to create awareness about the importance of palliative care, to provide financial support for Noble Palliative Care, and to inculcate values such as compassion, cooperation, and social commitment among the students. The programme also helped the volunteers develop communication skills, leadership qualities, and a sense of teamwork.The fund raising programme was successfully completed with the sincere efforts of the NSS volunteers and under the guidance of the NSS unit of MI Training College, Ponnani. The activity proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience for all the participants.
