The MI Training College, Ponnani, organises a series of field study tours that are highly relevant, educational and immersive. Each trip is thoughtfully designed to complement the academic curriculum and provide students with practical exposure to the field of diverse cultures, societies and geographical locations. Through visits to Ramakkalmedu, Idukki students gain valuable firsthand insights into the workings of the socially diverse structures in specific geographical locations. These experiences bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and realworld practice, enabling students to develop a deeper understanding of contemporary issues and professional practices. The field study tour (07/11/2025 to 09/11/3025) was organized as part of EDU.01 Education in Contemporary India under the mentorship of subject faculty Mr. Fayis P. S. Three first year students Nandana P. P., Nandana K. V., and Arya Nanda joined as student coordinators. The field study covered the Kuravan-Kurathi Statue, Ramakkal Kallu, Amappara Cave, and Calveri Mount.
