Ponnani: As part of the ‘Steps Vision 2030’ project, aimed at raising the academic standards of MI educational institutions in Ponnani Taluk, Junior IAS and IAS Foundation courses will commence on November 2. These courses are conducted in collaboration with the Perinthalmanna-based KRiA Hyderali Shihab Thangal Civil Service Academy. The classes will be held at MI Boys Higher Secondary School, Ponnani.
The selected students will undergo a four-month, 80-hour specialized training. An orientation camp for parents was held at the MI Training College Conference Hall, inaugurated by MI Sabha Secretary A.M. Abdussamad. Steps Vision Convener and District Panchayat Member V.K.M. Shafi presided over the event. Speeches were delivered by K.M. Abdurahiman, T.T. Ismail, Ibrahim Muthor, MI B.Ed. College Principal Dr. M.K. Naseerali, V.P. Manaf Master, T. Nabeel Master, U.K. Amaanulla, M.P. Nisar, M. Muhsin, P.P. Shamsu Master, P.M. Jargees Rahman, E.P. Aliashkar, Mohammed Ansar V, and P.P. Kamaluddin.
KRiA Civil Service Academy’s Junior IAS Project Coordinator Gayatri K. Menon, along with mentors Mohammed Hashir, Shehin Basheer, and Shruthi Nair, will lead the training.
