The 20th episode of the Literary Lens programme, organized by the Literary Club of MI Training College, Ponnani, featured a review of the classic Malayalam novel Indhulekha by O. Chandu Menon. The review was presented by Rafna A. M, a B.Ed. student from the 2024-2026 batch, on the 28th of September 2024, at 7:30 PM through Google Meet. The session was part of the ongoing series aimed at encouraging literary discussions and critical analysis among students.

Rafna began the review with a concise introduction to Indhulekha, providing historical context about its publication in 1889. She explained how the novel is often regarded as the first major modern novel in Malayalam literature, and how it marked a shift in narrative style and thematic concerns.
