Social Science club conducted programmes on the topics ‘Quit India’ and ‘Nagazaki’ rememberance days. The freedom fighters and their movements to achieve Independence are memorable. Mahatma Gandhi followed non-violence for the Independence of our nation, but the other parts of the world engaged in making atomic bombs and machines. Hiroshima and Nagazakki were the victims of war. The message of Gandhi is more relevant and important in this day.

            To remember the relevance the day, Social Science club conducted a presentation, Quiz competition, collage making, essay writing competition and games.

TALK ON QUIT INDIA

            Bhavana Bhagyanath the member of Social Science club conducted a discussion and PPT presentation about quit India and its history. This session detailed the main aspects of Quit India, important events, and the second world war and its relation to Quit India movement.

QUIZ COMPETITION

            After the talk on Quit India, Suneera conducted a quiz competition on the same. This session was interesting and all students were participated. The questions were well-prepared and informative.

COLLAGE MAKING

            Social Science club conducted group-wise collage making competition. The topic for collage making is “Children in war”. The students were divided into 6 groups and each group did their work more impressive. The complete participation of each group is evident in their preparation.
