The 61st episode of the Literary Lens programme, organized by the Literary Club of MI Training College, was held on 8th August 2025 through Google Meet at 7:30 PM.
The session featured Arifa K, a Physical Science student of the 2025–2027 Batch, who presented a review of the celebrated Malayalam novel Pathummayude Aadu by Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. In her engaging presentation, Arifa explored the autobiographical elements, humor, and simple yet profound storytelling style of Basheer, highlighting how the novel beautifully reflects everyday life in Kerala.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants shared their reflections and favourite moments from the book.
