The Review-cum-Reflective and Planning Meeting of the Civil Service Coaching initiative taken by MI Training College (MITC), under the visionary leadership of the MI Association, Ponnani, was held with great purpose and enthusiasm on 23 July 2025 at Hotel Top Chicken, Ponnani . The initiative is part of the MI IAS Coaching Academy, which functions under the ambit of STEPS 2030 – an academic quality enhancement programme of MI Institutions.
The meeting brought together a diverse and committed group of stakeholders, including members of the management, chief organisers of the coaching programme, coordinating teachers from various MI Schools, heads of institutions from MI Schools and MITC, parent representatives, and PTA executive members.

The session began with a review of the progress and impact of the ongoing Civil Service coaching programmes — namely, IAS Junior and IAS Foundation. Reflections were shared on the outcomes achieved, areas for strengthening the programme, and strategies for more effective academic support and mentoring. Participants appreciated the consistent efforts made by the faculty and organisers in nurturing a strong foundation for Civil Service aspirants from the school level itself.
The planning segment of the meeting focused on enhancing academic delivery, strengthening mentoring support, widening student reach, and ensuring holistic development of learners enrolled in the coaching programmes. Constructive suggestions were made regarding scheduling, resource mobilisation, parental engagement, and coordination among institutions.
It was also officially announced that the new batches of IAS Junior and IAS Foundation will commence on 2 August 2025. All present pledged their continued support to ensure the success and sustainability of this noble academic endeavour.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of commitment to the vision of grooming future civil servants and contributing meaningfully to nation-building through quality education and focused coaching.
