A special awareness class was conducted on April 19, 2025, as part of the “Coolness” (കുളിർമ ) initiative, organized in collaboration with Energy Management Centre (EMC Kerala) and KSCCAM (Kerala State Climate Change Adaptation Mission). The session started at 10:00 AM and was handled by Mr. Idhrees Shafi from the Nattunanma Group.The main focus of the session was on cool roof techniques, aimed at reducing heat inside buildings, especially during summer. Mr. Idhrees Shafi gave an insightful presentation on how to make rooftops cooler using simple and effective methods. He also explained how these practices can lead to significant reductions in electricity bills and highlighted the benefits of installing solar panels at home.The class was interactive and informative, leaving the participants with practical ideas that can be implemented in their homes. Overall, it was a highly engaging and educational session.
