The orientation programme for the B.Ed. Batch 2024–2026, marking the commencement of their second semester, was successfully held at MITC today. The event was organized to familiarize students with the academic expectations and curriculum of the upcoming semester, ensuring a seamless transition into the second phase of their teacher education journey.
General Orientation in the Multipurpose Hall
The orientation for the common papers was conducted in the multipurpose hall. Esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Ramitha Rahman PA, Dr. Silva P., and Mr. Muhamed Shareef, who are responsible for teaching the general papers, addressed the students. They provided an overview of the common subjects, highlighting their significance in the overall B.Ed. curriculum. The sessions emphasized the need for developing a strong foundation in the core areas of education and pedagogy, which will aid the students in becoming effective educators.
Subject-Specific Orientation in Classrooms
Following the general orientation, students were directed to their respective classrooms for detailed sessions on their pedagogical subjects. The subject-specific orientations were conducted by the respective subject teachers:

- Ms. Princy T.
- Dr. Salini K.J.
Each teacher elaborated on the subject content, learning outcomes, and the pedagogical approaches to be adopted in the second semester. They also shared insights into practical components and the evaluation criteria, ensuring clarity in academic expectations.

The programme was well-received by the students, who actively participated and raised queries, reflecting their enthusiasm for the new semester.
