Ponnani: MI Training College, Ponnani, hosted an inspiring Talents Meet on January 3, 2025, as part of its commitment to the philosophy of “Go for Local (GLOCAL),” emphasizing local needs and resources over global trends. The event brought together an array of talented individuals, showcasing the rich diversity and potential of the local community.
The program featured standout performances, including an inspiring harmonium recital by Sameeh Zubair Shareef, a 10th-grade student of AV High School Ponnani. Remarkably, Sameeh taught himself the intricacies of the harmonium through YouTube tutorials, showcasing the power of self-learning and dedication.
Adding to the vibrant lineup were Rineesh KB and Sainudheen KP, two differently-abled singers who captivated the audience with their soulful performances, demonstrating how determination and talent can transcend barriers.
Liyana PV, a student of MI Girls Ponnani School and the first-prize winner in mimicry at the District School Kalolsavam, delighted the audience with her impeccable mimicry skills. Her act earned enthusiastic applause for its humor and creativity.
Other performers who added sparkle to the event included Abdullakkutty, Babu Thanikkat, Mohammed Shafi, Navaneeth E, Ibrahim, Hamsa Ponnani, Prabheesh, Prajosh, Kalam, Habeeba, and Ameen Farook.
