On 4th September 2024, the IQAC and Research Cell of M.I. Training College (MITC) organized the third edition of the EduSphere Colloquium Series, focusing on the “Impact of Communication Disorders on Learning and Socialization.” The session commenced at 11:00 AM on Google Meet, with an active participation from the students, staff, alumni of MITC, and outstation participants from various colleges.

Resource Person: Dr. Prithi Venkatesh, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Special Education at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, was the distinguished resource person for the event. Her extensive expertise in special education provided deep insights into the challenges faced by individuals with communication disorders.

Session Overview: The session was introduced by Dr. Naseerali M.K., Principal of MITC, who emphasized the significance of understanding communication disorders in the educational context. Dr. Prithi Venkatesh then led a comprehensive discussion on how communication disorders can affect both learning and socialization.
