The Independence Day celebration at MIUP School was a grand and patriotic event, marked by enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and the community. The program began at 9 am with the flag hoisting ceremony by headmistress, Fathima teacher with the national anthem reverberating through the air. Esteemed ward member, Sabeerabi inaugurated the program who set the tone for a day filled with patriotic fervor.
This was followed by an inspiring speech by Kunji Muhammed, who highlighted the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
Suhaila Teacher gave the felicitation for the flag hoisting ceremony. Various cultural programes took place in the school stage starting with a group song by the students of 4th standard. Their melodious voices filled the audience with a sense of unity and patriotism. The program continued with a solo dance performance, patriotic group dance, flag song showcased by the students.
Felicitation speeches were delivered by the PTA President, Abdul Samad, and ex-ward councilor, Fasalu Rahman, who both expressed their appreciation for the efforts put in by the students and staff to make the day memorable. Mohammed Sir, the Arabic teacher, also gave felicitation. He also performed a patriotic song in Arabic. The B.Ed. trainees also sand a group patriotic song which was enjoyed by the audience. Amritha teacher delivered the vote of thanks. Teachers, students and their parents participated in the program.
