On the 14th of June 2024, the Literary Club organized an online book review program ‘Literary Lens’ featuring Jasmin Sulthana, a first-year Social Science student, as the resource person. The selected book for the review was “Nooru Simhasanagal’ written by Jayamohan .The online book review program commenced at 07:30 PM and was conducted via a virtual platform to accommodate participants from various locations. The aim of the event was to encourage literary discussions, promote reading culture, and provide insights into the chosen book. Jasmin Sulthana, a highly regarded first-year Social Science student, demonstrated a keen interest in literature and brought a unique perspective to the book review.
The chosen book for the review, “Nooru Simhasanagal’” captivated the audience with its rich narrative. “Nooru Simhasanangal” is a contemporary Tamil novel that explores themes of power, corruption, and human ambition within a political context.
