Anti-Narcotic Cell

The Anti-Narcotic Cell at MI Training College is a dedicated initiative aimed at combating drug abuse and promoting a drug-free environment within the college campus and its surrounding community. Its primary objectives include:

  1. Awareness and Education: The cell strives to raise awareness among students, faculty, and staff about the dangers of drug abuse through various educational programs, workshops, seminars, and campaigns.
  2. Prevention: Implementing preventive measures to discourage drug abuse by fostering a culture of healthy living, resilience, and positive peer influence.
  3. Counseling and Support: Providing confidential counseling services and support to students who may be struggling with substance abuse issues, as well as offering guidance and rehabilitation resources.
  4. Collaboration and Advocacy: Collaborating with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to advocate for policies and initiatives that address drug abuse issues effectively.
  5. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring drug-related activities within the college premises and promptly reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate authorities for intervention.
  6. Community Engagement: Engaging with the local community to promote drug awareness and prevention initiatives beyond the college campus, fostering a broader impact on society.
